The Public Service Loan Forgiveness is a great idea gone bad: student borrowers who work 10 years in public service were promised that their remaining student debt would be forgiven. But because of bureaucracy and red tape, the Department of Education rejects 98 out of every 100 public service workers who apply to have their debts canceled -- leaving our troops, hospital workers, public school teachers, and other public servants with debt and broken promises.
