Cybersecurity 101 Training: Using Multi-Factor Authentication

October 20, 2022
3pm - 4pm
Eastern Time (US & Canada)

Our passwords are at risk of being stolen, leaked, or hacked. Alone, passwords are no longer enough to protect you. Multi-factor authentication (MFA) adds an extra layer of security to your accounts so that even if someone knows your password, they won’t be able to log in without the additional verification. In this training we will cover best practices on how to use MFA and enable it across your devices and accounts.

October is Cybersecurity Awareness Month and Consumer Reports is here to help you secure your digital devices and platforms. Throughout the month, we will host weekly virtual training sessions that cover the basics of cybersecurity and share important actions you can take to protect your personal data. Our security experts will break down complex topics and answer questions on how to stay safe among emerging threats.
