This Forum featured an all-star panel of car and privacy experts, sharing privacy tips and discussing safeguards to protect our driving data. The panel included Kelly Funkhouser, Associate Director for Vehicle Technology at Consumer Reports, Adonne Washington, Policy Counsel, Mobility, Location & Data at the Future of Privacy Forum (FPF), and Thorin Klosowski, Security and Privacy Activist at the Electronic Frontier Foundation (EFF).
We dropped several resources to learn more about what kinds of data our vehicle collects and shares, how you can try to limit these practices, and what action you can take to pressure regulators to hold automakers accountable for any unfair and deceptive practices.
