Hold Big Tech accountable to consumers!

A new Congressional investigation found that the Big 4 tech companies — Facebook, Google, Apple and Amazon — have been engaging in monopoly-style tactics to dominate and manipulate the market for Web searches, smartphone apps, social networking and online shopping. Who gets hurt by these abusive tactics, and lack of competition and choice? Consumers.

The only way we can take back our online privacy, as well as get unbiased online search and shopping results that aren’t manipulated behind the scenes, is to join together and use our consumer muscle. Sign our petition demanding accountability, competition and transparency in Big Tech, and let’s take back our digital rights!

As consumers, we deserve real competition and choice online; control over our private data; and unbiased online searching and shopping experiences that aren’t manipulated behind the scenes. Our leaders and regulators must:

  • Enact privacy laws that allow consumers to control their digital data
  • Require tech companies to be transparent and objective about information they give consumers
  • Stand up against mergers that stifle competition and choice
  • Enforce and strengthen antitrust laws
