Meet Our Speakers
Nicole Pamani
Senior Associate, Advisory Services, WM
Nicole Pamani is a Senior Associate with WM Advisory Services. Her role is focused on circularity and her responsibilities include establishing WM as a trusted voice on sustainability & circularity topics within customers’ organizations, shaping demand for WM’s sustainability-related services and solutions, and eliciting stakeholder perspectives and feedback to inform design and evolution of those services and solutions.
Nicole’s current work is focused mostly on the retail and healthcare segments. Nicole has more than a decade of experience in consulting, and most recently worked as a sustainability consultant and project manager at BSR where she led projects for Fortune 500 companies in the consumer-packaged goods, retail, healthcare, and manufacturing sectors.
Her previous work includes working with cross-functional teams to understand and embed circular principles, engaging stakeholders across value chains, and conducting materiality assessments. Nicole holds an MBA in Sustainability from Bard College and a Bachelor of Science in Journalism and International Studies from the University of Miami.
Kevin Loria
Senior Health & Food Reporter, CR
Kevin Loria is a science reporter at Consumer Reports who writes about health and food. He covers topics ranging from healthy aging and living to environmental health and contaminants in the world around us. He writes about plastics in food and water, heavy metal contamination, and the impact of PFAS “forever chemicals."
Kevin has more than a decade of experience writing about science and health. Before joining CR in 2018, he covered science, health, and the environment for Business Insider. Kevin holds a Master of Arts from the Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism at the City University of New York and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Notre Dame.
Alexandra Grose
Senior Policy Counsel, Sustainability Policy, CR
Alexandra Grose is senior policy counsel for Consumer Reports’ sustainability policy team, which focuses on government policy and industry approaches to clean energy, environmental reforms, and other sustainability issues.
Alexandra joined CR in 2022 after three years as counsel and legislative director in the New York State Senate and Assembly, pushing for stronger environmental protections on behalf of disadvantaged and low-income communities. She worked in-house for General Electric and the General Aviation Manufacturers Association in Washington, D.C. on federal environmental issues around air quality, energy, and clean fuels, and she served as law clerk in the office of the chief counsel for the U.S. Department of Energy.
Alexandra received her bachelor’s degree from the University at Buffalo and her law degree from Vermont Law School.
