Families need protection from the risks of artificial intelligence right now. Listen to your constituents, and oppose the ban on the enforcement of existing or new state AI laws. States must be allowed to protect us from threats like AI-generated voice deepfakes and sexual content, dangerous AI chatbot companions, AI tools collecting families' personal data, and biased algorithms that can block consumers from accessing mortgages, job opportunities or credit.
Federal lawmakers are not keeping pace with emerging dangers, and states are on the forefront of AI protections. A new poll shows that 70% of Americans want states to be able to protect our kids. Listen to us, and stop the ban on state AI protections in the budget bill.
