Kroger Virtual Q&A
Join us for a discussion on Kroger's grocery pricing
Our latest investigations into one of the nation’s largest grocery chains – Kroger – found shoppers could be paying 18 percent more on certain items at checkout because of mislabeled shelf prices and that Kroger shares and sells extensive data about its loyalty program members and may give different shoppers different discounts (digital coupons) based on that data.
It’s tough enough to make ends meet these days without these kinds of issues, so we are pressuring Kroger to publicly commit to fixing these problems by honoring the shelf price for all items at checkout, ending the sale and sharing of shoppers’ data and ensuring loyalty program members have access to the same discounts.
Join Consumer Reports, UFCW Local 3000
(which represents Kroger workers), and
members like you who helped us discover
these pricing errors and privacy issues, for
a discussion of how we can work together to
hold companies like Kroger accountable to
fair pricing for all.
Let’s Make
the Price Right together.
