In honor of Black History Month, we launched our Black Beauty Justice Campaign and shared the results of our testing on synthetic braiding hair. At Consumer Reports, we are working to ensure that Black women can trust the safety of their personal care and beauty products. Feeling beautiful should never come with a risk to one’s life.
Join us and our dedicated partners as we unite in this important cause to push federal and state governments to take action to ensure the safety of beauty and personal care products. Listen in on this virtual event, where you will hear directly from our testing team about the specific ingredients found in synthetic braiding hair and from experts in the movement as they take questions from the audience. After the video, be sure to take action by signing our petition to the FDA to limit dangerous chemicals in synthetic braiding hair and require that companies disclose all ingredients.
