Celebrate Buyer Aware at the Ford Foundation
Join CR President and CEO Marta Tellado for a reception and book talk, moderated by Marketplace Morning Report host David Brancaccio, celebrating her new book Buyer Aware: Harnessing Our Consumer Power for a Safe, Fair, and Transparent Marketplace.
Buyer Aware highlights the harms that pervade our daily lives—from misuse of our personal data to dangerously faulty products—and shows how we can be a part of growing a strong, consumer-powered force to solve the problems plaguing consumers.
The event will take place on Thursday, October 20 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at the Ford Foundation Center for Social Justice at 320 E 43rd Street, New York, NY 10017.
