Credit reports and scores directly impact our financial security and opportunities, and it’s time the three major credit bureaus fix their broken systems so we have fair credit. We are calling on Equifax, Experian, and TransUnion to take responsibility for errors on consumers' credit reports by fully investigating all consumer disputes at a faster rate; giving consumers free and secure access to their credit reports and scores indefinitely; empowering consumers by freezing their credit by default; and making sure consumers are not locked out of their credit reports because of inaccurate information used to design identity verification questions.
