End Data Caps & Overage Fees!
High-speed internet must be affordable

Capping internet data and charging overage fees during the pandemic is infuriating. Yet the big internet providers — Comcast Xfinity, AT&T and Cox — are imposing some form of data caps on certain customers. And they’re doing it with questionable proof that these data caps are technically necessary, rather than a way to pad profits.

It’s time to hold these giant internet service providers accountable to consumers. Ask the heads of the Congressional committees who regulate internet service to take action now to investigate data caps and overage fees!

The COVID pandemic has shown that Americans need affordable, high-speed internet to learn, work, and get medical care from home. Yet some of the biggest broadband internet companies are imposing data caps — and in some cases, charging huge overage fees — on certain customers. Please do all you can to investigate these internet data caps and overage fees as you consider the Accessible, Affordable Internet for All Act.
