Consumer Reports new analysis of customers’ cable bills found company-imposed fees add another $37 a month to the average bill – that’s $450 a year in hidden fees!
A bill in Congress would end these fees, requiring cable, internet and phone companies to include all charges and fees in the base advertised price – so you know what you’ll be paying upfront. And if a provider hikes a fee, customers can get out of their contract without paying those horrible early-termination charges.
Ask your members of Congress to back the TRUE Fees Act. It’s time we put an end to the cable industry’s sneaky fees!
