Every two weeks on average a child is killed from furniture, a TV, or an appliance tipping over, and countless other kids and adults are injured each year. The furniture industry has known for a long time about the risks of tip-overs -- particularly with dressers, chests and bureaus -- but has failed to make strong safety changes that will save lives.

The Senate is considering a bill that would require stability standards and stronger warnings for these and similar clothing storage units. Tell your Senator  to support the bill, and let’s put an end to these tragedies!
