Tell Senators to restore net neutrality rules

Net neutrality means no person or business – no matter how much money or power they have – should get preferential treatment on the internet. But because net neutrality rules were killed by the FCC, telecom giants like Comcast, Verizon and AT&T can slow down, block, or give paid preferential treatment to websites or customers of their choosing.

The Senate has the chance to bring back rules that would prevent corporate control over your internet, and put your browsing power back in your hands. Sign the petition for strong net neutrality rules, and together let’s keep the internet open for everyone!

We are calling on the Senate to pass the “Save the Internet Act” (S.682) to restore net neutrality once and for all. This is the only legislation that will truly reinstate rules to prohibit internet service providers from blocking, slowing down, or giving preferential treatment to internet content of their choosing. This legislation will also prevent the FCC from reclassifying broadband to weaken these standards. The future of the internet is too important to leave in the hands of powerful corporate interests – please return the internet to all Americans by passing S. 682.
